Every tool on the site runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly builds of the same engines professionals use (gifsicle, gifski, MozJPEG, libavif, pdf-lib, qpdf, Tesseract and more). There is no upload step, no server processing, no account and no watermark.
The files people edit with tools like these are often exactly the ones that shouldn't be sent to a stranger's server: contracts to sign, forms with personal details, family photos, screenshots with private information. Because pixelpix does the work on your own machine, using it is as private as opening the file in a desktop app — and it keeps working offline once loaded.

Every size, estimate and preview in pixelpix comes from the real engine that produces your download — no mock results, no inflated savings. If a tool can't improve your file, it says so instead of pretending.
